So my trip was coming to an end. Jen and I spent the morning hanging out before we headed to snag some lunch with the kiddos in Yokosuka.

Sad to be leaving :(

Next it was time for me to catch the Metro to Haneda Airport.

Bye Tokyo!

So this is where my trip really got exciting! I had an hour-and-a-half layover over in Toronto, Canada. I made it through four check-points of security, before making my way to my gate. There are 99 gates in the Toronto Airport... My gate was #96. So I grabbed a coffee, and ran to my gate. Made it 45 minutes in advance (before boarding). Little did I know, that during my security checks, someone forgot to stamp my boarding pass... And the attendant wouldn't let me board without that stamp. I then ran (ALL THE WAY BACK) to security, got the stamp - ran all the way back, and made it at exactly 6:30pm. When my flight was suppose to depart. However, the attendant wouldn't let me board. So I had an additional 3 hour layover, and also (during all the running) dropped my passport.
However, after everything, I found my passport and was able to board the next flight to Pittsburgh, PA. Needless to say, I was exhausted when I made it back home, but I had such an amazing trip, with so many exciting experiences, great food, and I got to see my best friend!
I was so lucky to experience this adventure, and I cannot wait till my next big trip!
